An information site about appealing rejected health insurance claims in India, and a waitlist for a product that is not open yet.

Everything here is general information drawn from published regulations and published Insurance Ombudsman awards. It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client or any other professional relationship. Whether an argument applies to your claim depends on your policy wording and your facts.
No outcome is promised
Past ombudsman awards are not a prediction. An argument that won one case can lose another on facts that look similar. We publish the failure conditions alongside each argument for exactly this reason.
You act for yourself
Any complaint or appeal is filed by you, in your name, through the free channels the law provides. We do not represent you and we do not charge a share of anything you recover.
Accuracy
Regulations change. We cite the source for every argument so you can check it yourself, and we would genuinely like to hear about it if we have something wrong.
